We are very familiar with this sector of the economy having been involved with small business for our entire careers. We have a broad experience of what works with a number of businesses created and expanded. Our business attempts have helped us learn specifically what doesn't work, and more often than not have been exciting experiences in themselves - like the reverse-vending machine import business Monty attempted while in Japan. More importantly, we are proud of the work we did creating Tempest Rigging and Ancient Forest Woods, and continue to work on ideas of our own.
What starting a small business really teaches is how to effectively bootstrap and create value for your customer. Bootstrapping is not about spending money, but in effectively leveraging resources and time currently available to a greater end.
